Based on feedback and hours of self-deliberation, I have been reorganizing and partly rewriting my Fake History book. I think I was trying to be too clever and stream of consciousness in my initial approach. My style continues to be one that jumps around in time, because that is the way I think and the way I like it, but I do believe the current version is becoming far more coherent and hopefully more enjoyable.
I have changed the subtitle.
Previously: From JFK's "Secret Society" Speech to the January 6 Insurrection
Current: Before and After The Assassination

CURRENT COVER

I believe this change better reflects the scope of the book and the critical importance of President Kennedy's assassination to defining a change in public attitudes about conspiracy theories and about America.

I have a new draft chapter completed of my Fake History book, "Document 1035-960."
This chapter breaks down the conspiracy theorist mindset and why it always reaches the wrong conclusion. I also deal with the conspiracy theory that there was a conspiracy to make the term "conspiracy theory" a negative expression, perpetrated by the CIA.

Fake History is coming along nicely. I have completed another draft chapter. This one, "Bond, James Bond," gets into the actions and our perceptions of the American Intelligence Community.

I have not been making YouTube videos for a long time, but recently, the so-called History Channel had a video of mine removed for, "copyright." YouTube's system for contesting such claims is better than the last time I had to deal with one of these claims. Now, the claimant must file legal action in court within 14 business days when a counter-claim is made by the video's creator, or the video is restored to YouTube. I knew my fair use argument was solid and History dared not take it to court. It would only turn this into a negative news story for them and attract more people to my work.
Today I received the official word from YouTube that my video was back up. Now, if YouTube would only drive more eyeballs to it, rather than pushing more fake history.
The facts presented in this video are particularly damning. History's Hunting Hitler program blatantly lied to their audience. They took a picture of Moe Howard, from the Three Stooges, taken in California, and tried to pass it off as a photo of Adolf Hitler in South America. This was disgusting, not simply because they manufactured false evidence, but because they did it with a photo of a Jewish man and early critic of the Nazis. These actions deserve to be well known and the so-called History Channel needs to be condemned for this! Unfortunately, the story has been largely overlooked, but at least History was not able to shut me down and the truth can be found for those who seek it.

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing," or so the iconic Conservative figure, Edmund Burke allegedly said. With that thought in mind, I felt I had to say something publicly about my fears for America's future, and so I created and put up a sign in front of my house with one of my favorite quotes:
I think this shortened version of Ike's words captures the essence of his thinking, but to give a fuller context, he also said:
“People talk about the middle of the road as though it were unacceptable. Actually, all human problems, excepting morals, come into the gray areas. Things are not all black and white. There have to be compromises. The middle of the road is all of the usable surface. The extremes, right and left, are in the gutters.”
I hope it will have some positive impact to share this. Not just as another meme online, but as a physical sign in the real world.

JKL
